“ SOLAR INNOVATIONS ”
01. Oggetto del Concorso
La Seven - consulenze marketing e comunicazione e lo studio :: :: michelangelo brugnano architettura, in occasione del’evento “EUROPEAN SOLAR DAYS” che si svolgerà a Locri (rc) dal 17 al 22 Maggio 2009,
bandiscono
un Concorso di Idee SOLAR INNOVATIONS per “Strutture ed integrazione di pannelli solari ed energie ecosostenibili”, al fine di incrementare e sostenere la conoscenza, l’informazione e l’utilità delle ener­gie eco-friendly.
The competition is open, whether individually or in groups, at all, and divided into two categories:
JUNIOR (16-25) and Senior (25 and over).
The main target of the competition includes all those willing to engage in the definition of innovative use of solar energy systems and eco-friendly, especially architects, engineers, technicians, designers, artists as well as to students of their universities European institutes and high schools.
The notice is valid from 25 March 2009 to May 15, 2009 inclusive.

02. Objectives of the Competition
• Obtain results that go beyond, putting in work "standard" panels available on the market today - will therefore be appreciated innovative research in the use of new systems, solutions and shapes;
• Reduction created from the inconvenience of using this technology - considered to mean the finished product (panel) and the materials used for production;
• Locate simplified solutions Installation of the equipment necessary for the production of environmentally friendly energy than those used today and, bearing in mind the reluctance popular in reference to the "new" forms of energy is possible to believe is separate from the "manufactured" chosen as a lonely but in symbiosis same;

03. Characteristics which take into account in the design Project
a) The project must be original, clear, distinctive, adaptable, versatile, attractive, innovative, non-partisan and has strong communicative
b) The project must take into account sustainability criteria for the definition of the solution and choice of technologies, materials and construction systems;
c) The design should be easily recognizable and allow easy and immediate implementation, realization-Zand maximum possible cohesion between the look and feel and the descriptive text (attached to the project);
d) The project will highlight the energy efficiency criteria of the solution, both in terms of energy savings achieved through technological solutions identified in terms of energy intake provided through the application of active systems (it can also be documented cases

) Innovation in design and feasibility of the proposed solution;
f) Creativity ingenuity and insight will be considered in assessing the characteristics of the projects!
04. Conditions for participation
• Participation is limited to young people aged between 16 and 25 years JUNIOR CATEGORY, aged between 25 years and over, Senior resident European territory;
• Participation is an individual or group can participate in studies and agencies that operate in the promotion, communication, graphics and design based on European territory, provided that the responsibilities identified in the project is resident on Italian territory ;
• Each individual competitor or team may participate once in an individual capacity, under penalty of disqualification. Each participant can submit only one proposal;
• Participation in the competition involves filling in the registration form written in Italian by marking all the fields below: data of the individual participant or working group address on which you want to receive any communications relating to the competition, telephone number, e-mail, the section in which you participate,

• You are required to enclose a self-certification, certifying that the sender does not have criminal charges pending or implications for the Mafia;

ENVELOPE A - DRAFT
Within this envelope should be placed on the project. Each entrant (individual or group) will prepare a proposal ideational original and created specifically for the event (excluding penalty).
Participants will compete in the competition individually or in groups. All
followers of the various sections are free 'to develop the theme of the competition taking into account the suggestions in paragraphs 2, 3, 6;
Regarding the type of proposal ideational all sections will propose action on support at their discretion and made using any representation technique, including movies and slide shows to digital, but keep in mind that: • Size
allowed for the paper material of magnitude between the A3 (min. 2 max tables. 4 boards) and A2 (Table 1 min Max. 2 sheets);
• Digital format CD or DVD containing the project proposal and / or any presentations:
powerpoint. pdf,. mov,. wav (max 5mb presentation 3 min max. video)
• Text with project description, A4 format (max. 1 page), mandatory for all participants.
ENVELOPE B - REGISTER
The envelope, which will be opened by the jury at the time of the announcement of the winner, must contain:
1. A copy of the application form (Appendix 1) completed and signed.
2. The permitted use of personal data and the release, on plain paper, the use of works for the uses specified in paragraph 12 of this announcement.
3. The application form did not have criminal charges pending or being investigated for Mafia.
(For groups, we require the same documentation for each member.)
06. Area of \u200b\u200bIntervention
Each group or individual participant will realize a project that has as its object: a.
Installation is simple: design of a solar panel that is "innovative" (form / technology / material)
b. Integrated installation: that is an area, building an artifact or a body of your choice - still or moving - which can be powered by sustainable energy.
Each group or individual participant must therefore choose one of the following sections: A.
B. ARCHITECTURE ARTISTIC C. URBAN D. DESIGN E. VIDEO
07. Submission of application
Please note that as confirmed the delivery date of the envelope (by registered post or hand delivery) and not the postmark. The application must be submitted in the manner expressed by section 5 of this regulation and using the application form (Annex 1). The competitor, if less, must submit the application signed by parent or legal representative.
08. Terms Exclusion
A competitor may be disqualified for the following reasons: •
unless the request is made on the appropriate form (application form: Annex 1);
• if you have submitted the documents required by the announcement late sulla scadenza indicata;

• nel caso di gruppi di persone, quando non sia stato individuato un responsabile di progetto residente sul territorio italiano;
• se il concorrente rende pubblico il progetto o parte dello stesso prima che la commissione abbia espres­so e formalizzato ufficialmente il proprio giudizio;
09. Valutazione dei Progetti
La valutazione dei progetti compete ad un’apposita commissione tecnica, il cui giudizio sarˆ insindacabile.
I progetti saranno preliminarmente esaminati senza aprire the envelope containing the identification of the applicant registry.
Project evaluation will be carried out according to the following criteria:
a) the quality and level of creativity and innovation in motion graphics (up to 70 points of evaluation);
b) quality of the overall project in relation to the requirements set out in paragraphs 2.3 , 6 of Regulation (max 70 points of evaluation);
c) the quality and level of communication of the project (maximum 30 points of evaluation).
The evaluation will be expressed in numerical units, minimum 10 maximum 70 points for a maximum score of 170 and a minimum of 30 points.
The competition will be valid even in the presence of a solo partecipante.

the top 5 will be offered the option of a one month internship at local firms, proof of diving experience (except in August);
11. Exhibition and Publication of the works presented The works and projects students will be reviewed by a scientific committee which will have sole responsibility to select the material submitted, click the first ten of which are classified among them the winner rule and any exclusion.
Top 10 selected works will be exhibited in Locri (RC) at Palazzo publicly Niedzwiecki, 17 Magggio 2009 to 23 May-Thurs 2009 in occasion of the "European Solar Days." The works will also have high visibility through media channels and institutional bodies that cooperate with the initiative.
The works will be published within the advertising / promotional material relating to "European Solar Days"
